This is the preliminary and basic association of a school with SWAL. These schools are primarily mentored to introduce STEM(Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) and are weekly monitored. SWAL-Sch-A schools students should be able to understand the phenomena/concepts, preferably bilingually(English and Local language). These schools are expected to move to the next category(SWAL-Sch-I) within two years.
Madrasahs willing to introduce STEM are invited to join us as SWAL-Sch-A.

These schools are primarily mentored to assimilate STEM subjects as an entity. A typical student should be able to relate(better – correlate) various STEM subjects and provide integrated explanations and effect of STEM phenomena. These schools are also weekly monitored. SWAL-Sch-B schools are expected to move to the better category within a year.

They shall be mentored on ways to express their integrated understanding of STEM subjects through novel projects and ingenious experiments. Though they are expected to be more self-dependent and self-content but, shall be mentored biweekly.

They are the ideal schools whose students are expected to actively participate in national/international STEM competitions. These schools shall be actively monitored on an almost daily basis. Novel topics like the Islamic laws of inheritance, calculation of qiblah, calculation of prayer times, computational aspect of Muslim Architectural pieces and, geometrical and physical aspects of arts of the Mediaeval Islamic era shall be taught from a STEM perspective, aiming to bring an integrated assimilation of STREAM(Science Technology Religion Engineering Arts and Mathematics).
