SWAL-Olympiads
In India’s 36 years of appearances at the International Science Olympiads(IMO, EGMO, IPhO, IChO, IBO, IOI), no Muslim student has ever represented India. Furthermore, every year 60 students are called for an olympiad training camp(IMOTC, IPhOTC, et al) and trained aiming to select the final Indian team; not more than 5 Muslim students have been able to participate in I*OTCs for the last 36 years.
We, the Muslim of India, are still obsessed with physical or mechanical skills and (wrongly)perceive that a collection of physical or mechanical skills would (slowly, with patience) lead to intellectual heights. Never did mediocrity bear leaders but rather, has borne content with delusion.
Any collection of pebbles can neither match a mountain in height nor in firmness.
SWAL-Oly-A
SWAL-Oly-A is aimed at nurturing firm brilliant minds for theoretical sciences(Math, Phy, CS) Olympiads.
The SWAL-Sch-S and SWAL-Sch-Z schools are eligible to approach us to induct olympiad training in their schools.
(Guardians of/)Individuals(11-17 years) with a good STEM background are encouraged.
SWAL-Oly-W
Women around the globe are encouraged in STEM through several initiatives. It is mandatory for Indian Muslim community to take special care for Muslim Women for STEM.
Muslim girls are rarely educated for education. There are subtle parental goals(nikah, societal status, work management et al) for which they are forced to yield their hard-work. If not all, many of our women should be trained for elite careers in STEM.
